so unexpected. Karmen Gei is an adaptation of the Bizet opera Carmen. set in Senegal, the film is in French and Wolof and stars the beautiful and beautifully named Djeïnaba Diop Gaï.
pitch perfect. a classic.
Yeelen is a ferocious film from Souleymane Cissè. truly magnificent.
